How To Set Up a MetaMask Wallet

Metamask is a Web3 Ethereum wallet browser extension that allows users to interact with Dapps (Decentralized Applications) through their web browser.
Step 1: Download MetaMask
Go to the MetaMask Official Website and download MetaMask as a browser extension. Currently, MetaMask supports Chrome, Brave, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. MetaMask is also available on the IOS App Store or the Google Play Store on Android.
Step 2: Create A New Wallet
After installing MetaMask, upon opening it, you will be encountered by the setup page.
Click Import wallet and you will be prompted to create a password with a minimum of 8 characters. Once you have created a password, you will be given a secret recovery phrase. Never share your secret recovery phrase with anyone and write down your secret recovery phrase in a safe place. Having your secret recovery phrase means having full access to all of your funds. Once the setup is complete, you can start using your wallet!
Bonus: Adding Tokens
To add listed tokens, click import tokens at the bottom of the page and search for the token you want to add. You will be requested to confirm before adding tokens to make sure you are adding the correct token.
If the token you want to add cannot be found searching, you can manually input your token details. You will need to input the token smart contract, token symbol, and decimal fields. Then, click confirm and your token should be added to your assets.
